Xenex Disinfection Services has reached an agreement with RevDesinfectie Robots to become the company's exclusive distributor in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The agreement means that San Antonio-based Xenex will be able to market its Germ-Zapping Robots to hospitals and other health care facilities in three more global markets. Xenex's devices have the ability of destroying the bacteria and viruses that commonly are associated with hospital infections. The robots emit a high intensity UV light that kills germs in hospital rooms and halls.

Nearly 300 hospitals and health care facilities in the United States and Europe are currently using Xenex robots.
