BioMed SA honoring Seattle physician for health care innovation

BioMed SA will award its sixth annual Julio Palmaz Award for Innovation in Healthcare and the Biosciences to Dr. Leroy Hood.

Hood is the president and co-founder of the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle. He will accept his award in San Antonio on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Nonprofit organization BioMed SA seeks to accelerate the growth of San Antonio's biomedical sector and honor local and national pioneers in the industry.
