Speaker: Stephen M. Prescott, M..D., President, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation

An internationally recognized leader in the study of basic mechanisms of human disease, Dr. Prescott will share his insight on capital development models uniquely targeted for medical innovation. Before becoming President of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Dr. Prescott was Executive Director of the world-renowned Huntsman Cancer Institute. He serves on the boards of numerous pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the U.S. and internationally. He is the founder of LineaGen, a biotechnology company that recently secured a $15.8 million Series C round. He was also the visionary force behind the jointly founded Oklahoma incubator, Accele BioPharma, and its venture partner, Accele Venture Partners.
